DANCING FOR OUR LIVES
In these times of deconstruction and renewal, how do we stay grounded in our bodies, open in our hearts, mobile in our consciousness, and creative in our deeds? These moving experiences will invite us, people of many ages and stages, to explore principles and practices for honoring change with resilience and joy. Dance will be our primary vehicle for a journey that will lead us into our own beings, strengthening the connection between our inner essence and our outer expression. We will discover the ground that stabilizes and sustains us, even when huge waves of transformation swell upon the shores of our lives. No previous dance experience is necessary.

Join Melissa Michaels and a team of inspired youth leaders for this movement based exploration into and through the labyrinth of the body. Honoring the body as our center of being, pathways will be opened for our fullest experience of incarnation and expression. What does it mean to be embodied? How can conscious movement awaken our capacities to be fully alive? What are practices that can be woven into our lives to fuel this longing for connection, to self, to one another, to our life streams, and to the spirit moving it all? How can the body become a portal to our vast inspiration, along with awakening our capacities to manifest vision? How can movement catalyze transformation for youth and adults who serve them?

Her Work Is A Pathway… From The Longing Of The Spirit To The Ecstasy Of The Ordinary.
